New scientific review paper on Chagos

A new review paper, highlighting what is known about the state of the marine and terrestrial environment of the Chagos archipelago, has just been published by Wiley. The review, entitled “Reefs and islands of the Chagos Archipelago, Indian Ocean: why it is the world’s largest no-take marine protected area”, is authored by over 40 scientists who have conducted research at Chagos over the last few years, and lead authored by Prof Charles Cheppard, member of CEN and scientific advisor to the Chagos administration.
