Name our Chagos News manta ray cover star!

The recently-published issue of Chagos News features a juvenile female manta ray on its cover, gracefully gliding through the waters off the Chagos Archipelago.

Thanks to Dr Joanna Harris, the Director of the Chagos Manta Ray Project and author of the Chagos News cover story on manta rays, our members, readers and followers can name our cover star, who the Manta Trust research and work hard to protect - all you have to do is send your suggestions to director@chagos-trust.org or pop the potential name in our socials' comments.

The Trust's Director, Sarah Puntan-Galea, and the CCT Board will choose one of the suggestions and announce it at the speaker event following the upcoming Annual General Meeting being held on Wednesday 27 March at the Geological Society in London at 6pm - 9pm. 

Dr Harris will be delivering a presentation on Chagos manta rays at the event, so if you would like to attend, please send an email to membership@chagos-trust.org with your full name and dietary requirements.
