Today the Foreign and Commonwealth Office published a white paper explaining how it intends to establish “stronger engagement” with the British Overseas Territories. Promoting environmental cooperation is a strong part of the white paper and this should benefit the Chagos Marine Reserve as well as all the other overseas territories.
