Marine management - making an oxymoron more meaningful

CCT's chair, Charles Sheppard, was invited to write an article for The Marine Biologist, the Marine Biological Association magazine. He chose to write on the context and crucial importance of not only the Chagos marine reserve but of this and similar sites around the world in more general terms.

"Marine reserves must become a key component of the world’s marine systems where they can serve as reservoirs, and sources of food for the future, and reserves of biodiversity."
